Act 314 of the 2019 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature created the Louisiana Trucking Research and Education Council. The Council’s public purpose is to promote education training, research and development for enhanced safety and efficiency within the trucking industry through a variety of activities concerning workforce development, highway safety, highway planning and public education.
The Council is to annually solicit activity request statements. These statements should contain:
